Hi there! I'm Hannah...

A landscape painter from Kent who loves to find quiet spaces in the English countryside. My first solo exhibition was called A Moment to Myself, because there's nothing better than finding a secret spot all on your own!

Although born in Scotland, I have lived in the south-east of England for over 20 years and I feel a very strong bond to my home county, Kent. I love the outdoors and I am a keen cyclist, which means I am very familiar with the landscape and I am always finding new views, valleys and scenes that I want to paint!

My paintings often depict a cool and fresh palette, including lots of my favourite greens and blues to capture the lush and vibrant scenery I am moved by. Please feel free to have a browse  and if you have any questions, just send me a message. I hope you find something that inspires you and I hope it brings you a sense of appreciation and new love for our environment.

Get to know me

If you'd like to learn more about my practice, you've come to the right place. Below are my favourite videos and podcasts which I think give you a good idea about what goes on in my little greenhouse.

Listen

Last year I was lucky enough to be invited as a guest artist on Women Who Rock, a podcast celebrating female musicians and artists all over the world. It was so lovely to chat with Matt - the creator of the podcast - talking about the realities of an artistic practice and what landscape painting means to me.

Here's a brief introduction to my practice which we made in preparation for The Other Art Fair, London
